According to records, China's urbanization rate has increased from 53.7% to 66.1% in the past decade, leading to a sharp increase in urban rain and sewage discharge. Traditional drainage systems face multiple challenges: low efficiency in sewage transportation on sunny days causes underground pipeline pollution; during the initial stage of rainfall, first-flush rainwater with high COD concentration is directly discharged, damaging river ecology; in the middle and late stages of rainfall, mixed discharge of rainwater and sewage overloads the pipeline network by 1.5 times its design standard, leading to frequent sewage overflows; river backflow during the flood season further causes waterlogging. In 2023, environmental pollution complaints due to overloaded pipeline operation increased by 28% year-on-year. Under such severe circumstances, an intelligent and full-scenario sewage treatment system has become an urgent need to protect urban water environments and drainage safety, and promote sustainable development.
