In 2025, as Denmark's Grundfos Group celebrates its 80th anniversary and 30 years of entering the Chinese market, Ulrik Gernow, Chief Operating Officer of Grundfos, expressed in an exclusive interview with People's Daily, "China is advancing green transformation at an astonishing speed, and the new momentum generated has greatly enhanced Grundfos' confidence in investing in China. In late May this year, a delegation of Chinese industrial (IND) enterprises, including Flangco Water, was invited to visit Grundfos' headquarters in Denmark and its factory in Hungary. This trip was not only a sustainable development-themed journey and a VIP exclusive event for the anniversary celebration but also built a platform for in-depth exchanges. During this period, the delegation explored cutting-edge technologies and engaged in strategic dialogues around SBTI (Science Based Targets Initiative).

Starting from a startup workshop in Bjeringbro, Denmark, Grundfos Group has achieved a leap from a technological pioneer to an industry leader in 80 years, now covering over 60 countries worldwide. Since entering the Chinese market in 1995, Grundfos has always anchored itself in localized innovation and taken ecological co-construction as a bond, working hand in hand with Chinese partners to write a sustainable development chapter for green water affairs.

In Denmark, the delegation visited Ormstrup Manor, known as the "spiritual landmark of the family." At the manor, the delegation tasted traditional Danish family cuisine, listened to the entrepreneurial legend Mr. Grundfos about founder Poul Due Jensen, and felt his original aspiration of "using water as a medium and technology as the soul." Grundfos' senior management presented the delegation with a signed copy of the corporate biography and engaged in in-depth dialogues on brand foundations, market trust building, and global practices of water system solutions.

First Stop: Grundfos Denmark Factory

The Chinese industrial (IND) delegation visited Grundfos' factory in Denmark, where relevant personnel explained the essence of hydraulic design, advanced MGE (CRE) technology, etc., and demonstrated Grundfos' achievements in promoting water and energy transformation through technological innovation via presentations and on-site visits.

The itinerary also included on-site inspections of specific application scenarios. Staff introduced the case of Grundfos' E-pump, which features low long-term operation failure rates, significantly reducing maintenance costs and downtime. With high-quality materials and exquisite craftsmanship, it can operate stably in harsh environments. Delegation members had in-depth exchanges with technical experts on the E-pump's technical details, application scenarios, and after-sales services.

Second Stop: Grundfos Hungary Factory

After visiting the Danish factory, the delegation moved to Grundfos' factory in Hungary, where they gained an in-depth understanding of the production process, quality control, and market layout. Every link reflected Grundfos' persistent pursuit of quality and keen insight into the market.

In the evening, the delegation took a break from their busy schedule and boarded a cruise in Budapest. The sparkling river flowed gently, and the Chain Bridge was ablaze with lights, reflecting the river and carrying the city's profound historical and cultural heritage...

A highlight of this trip was the Grundfos Industrial Zero Carbon and Sustainable Development Special VIP Customer Seminar. At the seminar, Grundfos experts shared the company's latest achievements and practical cases in energy conservation, emission reduction, green production, and sustainable development—each case embodying Grundfos' wisdom and efforts on the path of sustainable development.

During the exchange, Wang Ruming, General Manager of Flangco Water, remarked with emotion, "Grundfos' rich experience in localized innovation has provided important references and valuable insights for the cooperation between the two sides.
